The cellar is located in the hamlet of Vaj, situated in the valley below Rodello on the road connecting Alba with Alta Langa and Liguria.
Primarily cultivated with Dolcetto vines, the 8 hectares also include the standout varieties of Barbera, Nebbiolo and Pinot Nero.
The vineyards are grassed, the purpose of which is to keep the ground soft.
When necessary, organic fertiliser is used and products based on copper sulphate and sulphur are used to treat the vines.
Grapes are harvested by hand into crates, which are then taken to the cellar where the grapes and stalks are separated and pressed.
